Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.
By viewing the websites of Tenant Indemnity Services Limited (“the Company”) at www.TenantPerformanceBond.com or www.TheStudentBond.com (“the Web Sites") you are agreeing to the terms that appear below (hereinafter referred to as “the Terms”) whether or not you utilise the services offered via the web sites.
1. Introduction
These Web Sites are owned and operated by Tenant Indemnity Services Limited a Limited Company incorporated under the Companies Acts and registered in England (company number 6341066) and having its Registered Office at Lockkeeper’s Cottage, The Marina, Hull HU1 1UH.
All material on the Site (the “Content”) belongs to the Company. You may not do any of the following without prior written permission from the Company, namely:
Redistribute any of the Content
Remove the copyright or trade mark notice from any copies of Content made
hereunder
Create a database by systematically downloading and storing all or any of the
Content
You acknowledge that "The Student Bond" and “Tenant Performance Bond” and the
websites are trade marks and that you may not use the same without our prior
written permission.
3. Non-UK Access
The Company does not provide any warranties, expressed or implied that this site or any part thereof or any thing which might from time to time appear hereon complies with any law or regulations in any jurisdiction outside the UK.
4. Tenant Vetting
The Company’s business is that of tenant vetting on behalf of landlords and letting agencies and issuing guarantees (“the Bonds”, on behalf of Red Sands Insurance Company (Europe) Limited, for persons that it has vetted and approved. Any use of the Company’s services is in accordance with these terms and conditions and any information that the Company supplies in relation to any vetting application is given in good faith and the Company shall not be liable for any decisions, commercial or otherwise, which are taken as a result of that information. The terms governing the Bonds are detailed in the Bonds.
5. Payment and credit terms
The Company will charge for the Bonds by way of an invoice supplied after the vetting process has been completed and the tenant(s) approved. The Company will not charge for its vetting services if the conclusion of the vetting procedure is not positive. All invoices must be paid within 21-days. Failure to pay any invoice within that period will cause the customer to be in breach with the Company and the Bond that it has issued shall be void.
6. Privacy Policy
Information that you provide about you to the Company will only be used by the Company in accordance with its trading activities. The Company accepts no responsibility for information you may give about yourself to operators of third party sites, whom you may contact through links from the Company’s web site.
7. Changes to the Terms
The company reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to make changes to any part of the Web Sites, the Content and the Terms (including those relating to your use of the Content). When the Terms are changed, the Company will publish details of those changes by including them at the end of the Terms on the Site. If you use the Site after the Company has published the changes, you are agreeing now to be bound by those changes. If you do not agree to those changes, you should not use the site.
8. Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
The Company is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and undertakes to comply with the Act in all dealings with personal data which is supplied during the course of the Company’s day to day business.
